1000 block of Harriet Avenue: Someone stole miscellaneous personal property from a vehicle.
Overnight in the 100 block of Shelley Avenue: The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.
Overnight in the 900 block of Sobrato Drive: Someone pried a lock off of a vehicle in an apparent attempt to gain entry.
7:54 p.m. in the 300 block of Budd Avenue: A man was contacted in the area where large aerial fireworks had just been set off; he was in possession of several aerial fireworks.
8:49 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man stole an item and fled. The suspect was stopped and admitted to the theft.
3 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Winchester Boulevard: An officer located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Santa Clara.
June 30
Overnight in the 800 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone smashed a vehicle window and rummaged through it.
Overnight in the 300 block of Budd Avenue stall: Someone entered a vehicle and stole items.
12:30 p.m. in the 10 block of North Second Street: A vehicle was stolen.
Overnight in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone gained entry into a vehicle and stole items.
8 p.m. at Campbell and Central avenues: An officer located a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
July 1
Overnight in the 700 block of Sobrato Drive: Someone slashed the tires and spray-painted a vehicle.
9 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Winchester Boulevard: When the victim approached the suspect’s parked car, the suspect asked for directions while masturbating then fled.
Overnight in the 10 block of West Campbell Avenue: Someone was seen defecating in the parking lot and fled the scene.
3:17 p.m. in the 400 block of West Campbell Avenue: A woman was causing a disturbance. She was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
6 a.m. in the 200 block of North San Tomas Aquino Road: Someone forced entry into a unit and stole items.
9:16 p.m. in the 300 block of Union Avenue: Someone called the victim claiming to be the IRS and had them send gift cards.
10:38 p.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 30, was causing multiple disturbances and was found to be under the influence.
12:58 a.m. in the 3000 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A suspect collided into a pole and fled. He was later contacted at his residence and admitted to the collision.
July 2
Overnight in the 1000 block of El Soyo Avenue: A vehicle was stolen.
3:45 p.m. in the 600 block of Creekside Way: A suspect was contacted and found to be too intoxicated to care for his safety. He was transported to the sobering station.
5 p.m. in the 900 block of Linda Drive: During an argument, the suspect grabbed the victim by the neck, leaving marks and scratching their hand. The victim desires prosecution.
10:42 p.m. in the 500 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A man spit in the victim’s face. Three days prior, the suspect had choked the victim and prevented them from calling 911.
July 3
Los Gatos Creek Trail and Campbell Avenue: Someone spray-painted the support wall underneath Campbell Avenue.
Noon in the 1800 block S Bascom Avenue: A suspect was asked to leave the property by security. The suspect punched the victim in the chest before leaving in a white Chevy van.
7:26 p.m. in the 600 block E Campbell Avenue: A man, 36, was causing multiple disturbances and was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
July 4
Overnight in the 700 block of Springfield Drive: Someone broke into a vehicle and took a stereo. The suspect fled in a gray Chevy Tahoe.
1:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 36, was walking in the roadway and causing disturbances. The suspect was located and found to be in possession of brass knuckles. He was arrested and booked.
1:58 p.m. in the 2300 block South Winchester Boulevard: A man told the reporting party that he had a knife. On contact the suspect displayed symptoms of stimulant use. He would not comply with commands to exit the store on his own and was arrested.
7:01 p.m. at Winchester and Hacienda: Two men, ages 27 and 18, and two 17-year-olds were stopped for a vehicle code violation. The suspect had open alcoholic containers, marijuana, knives and a machete in the vehicle. The 27-year-old was on probation for firearm and gang charges. One 17-year-old was on juvenile probation for firearms charges and was a minor in possession of alcohol; the other has prior firearms history and was in violation of his gang orders and probation. The 27-year-old contributed to the delinquency of the juveniles, had fireworks and was in violation of his probation. The 18-year-old also contributed to the delinquency of the juveniles.
9:38 p.m. in the 1300 block of Burrows Road: Someone caught some bushes on fire by lighting fireworks.
4:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone forced entry into the business and stole items.
July 5
Overnight in the 600 block of Laura Drive: Someone stole the catalytic converter off of a 2005 Prius.
1:56 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 64, was sitting outside drinking from a bottle of alcohol and yelling racial slurs. He was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
Noon in the 800 block of West Rincon Avenue: Someone turned off the power to a house at the breaker, disconnected the phone line, and then threw a rock through a window. The victim was home and scared off the suspect, who fled on foot.
Overnight in the 800 block of Sunnypark Court: Someone stole the catalytic converter off of a 2007 Prius.
4:41 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Two suspects stole items and fled.
5:45 p.m. in the 00 block of Llewellyn Avenue: A male suspect unsuccessfully tried to start a 1986 Porsche 911 then fled to an awaiting white Honda Civic driven by another male.
6:49 p.m. in the 400 block of Sobrato Drive: A male suspect unsuccessfully tried to start a vehicle then fled to a white Honda Civic.
7:38 p.m. at Longfellow and Kilmer avenues: A lock to a box was cut and wires inside were cut. Upon inspection, the damage looked very old.
12:16 a.m. at Ridgeley Drive and South Bascom Avenue: An officer located a 05 Chevy van. The plate, which was reported stolen, belongs to a 2000 Dodge Ram. The correct plates had been removed from the vehicle. The van was found to be unreported stolen out of San Jose.
4:51 a.m. at Villarita Drive and San Tomas Aquino Road: An officer located a white 1995 Ford Aero van that had been reported stolen out of San Jose July 3.
