New librarian sought
Stephen Fitzgerald, head librarian at the Milpitas Library, has been promoted to a position at the Santa Clara County Library headquarters. While the county recruits for his position, retired Milpitas head librarian Linda Arbaugh will return to her former job on an interim basis.

‘First to Play’
Wanna be the first on your block to play with bricks at the Legoland Discovery Center Bay Area? “First to Play” passes will get holders into the new center in the Great Mall ahead of its scheduled opening next spring.
“First to Play” pass holders will also receive 12 months’ admission to Legoland, express entry via priority entrance, invitations to special events, exclusive seasonal offers only for pass members, discounts at the café and Lego store, and 10 percent discount at birthday parties.
A limited number of “First to Play” annual passes are available for $79.95 each at https://bayarea.legolanddiscoverycenter.com/tickets/first-to-play. Family passes are available for $76.95 each when purchasing three or more passes. Once those are sold out, other tiers of annual passes will be released.
