10:40 a.m. in the 3600 block of Kendra Way: Officers located a 2000 Chevy pickup that had been reported stolen to San Jose police on March 13.
900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone pried open a night deposit box over the weekend in an apparent attempt to access the ATM.
100 block of Adler Avenue: A 52-year-old man was a guest at the victim’s residence. After the suspect refused to wash his hands, the victim told him he was no longer welcome. The suspect responded by saying he was going to return with a gun and shoot everyone in the residence. Due to conflicting statements, this will be sent to the district attorney.
5:48 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A 42-year-old and a 46-year-old were reported as harassing a security guard in front of a store. Both were found to be too intoxicated to care for themselves and arrested.
9:49 p.m. in the 1800 block of Montemar Way: Two suspects were witnessed breaking into a vehicle and stealing items. Another vehicle was found to be burglarized, and entry was attempted into a third.
March 17
200 block of Llewellyn Ave: A victim was missing a ring and a gold necklace and believes it was stolen.
2:37 p.m. in the 800 block of Sobrato Drive: (S) A man, 25, was reported to be intoxicated and sitting in front of a residence with an open container. Upon contact, the suspect was immediately aggressive toward officers, who determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself.
March 18
2:35 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A witness watched a man, 18, punch out a window and flee. Officers located the suspect, who was suffering from serious lacerations to his hands.
Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the 600 block of Almarida Drive: Someone stolen a blue 2002 Yamaha and the red 2017 trailer it was secured to. Neither vehicle had plates. Both were chained to a post inside a security gate.
March 19
4:10 p.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Ave.: A woman, 77, was observed stumbling in the park. She got into her vehicle and drove away from the scene. Officers observed the vehicle and stopped it. The suspect displayed objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was found to be DUI.
10:06 p.m. at Bascom and Shamrock: An officer was driving down Bascom Avenue and ran a plate on the vehicle traveling in front of him. The vehicle return came back as a stolen vehicle out of Sunnyvale. The four occupants all looked back at him, and the vehicle turned onto Shamrock Drive and accelerated. The officer drove down Shamrock he saw the four occupants running north on Normandy and he saw that the vehicle had crashed into fences and also collided into a vehicle in a driveway. One suspect stayed at the scene, and after a foot pursuit the other three were caught. A 19-year-old suspect had a backpack with two airsoft pistols that looked like real firearms. The suspect also had no-bail felony warrants.
March 20
9:36 a.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue: An officer observed a vehicle with two different license plates affixed to it. The driver was found to have three outstanding warrants. In plain view was a bat with duct tape on the handle. The suspect was arrested, and a search of the vehicle revealed a slim jim and a second bat in the trunk.
12:38 a.m. in the 3000 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A woman, 28, flagged down an officer regarding a disturbance. The woman is a convicted felon and was in possession of pepper spray.
3:13 a.m. in the 700 block of East Campbell Avenue: A woman, 29, was passed out in her ride share and was too intoxicated to care for herself.
March 21
9:35 a.m. in the 600 block of Chapman Drive: A 95-year-old man allegedly struck an 88-year-old in the face with a phone, causing redness. The suspect could not remember if he threw the phone, but the victim said it happened.
12:26 a.m. in the 1800 block of West Campbell Avenue: A man, 23, was contacted after a disturbance and was found to be under the influence of meth.
5:02 a.m. at Civic Center and Harrison: A man, 54, was contacted after he was causing a disturbance. The suspect was found to be under the influence of a stimulant and in violation of his probation.
March 22
11 a.m. in the 500 block of Railway Avenue: Someone cut the lock and stole a bicycle.
Noon in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man’s cell phone was stolen when he left it unattended.
6:43 p.m. in the 200 block of Catalpa Lane: An officer located an unoccupied vehicle that was stolen out of San Jose.
6:09 p.m. in the 100 block of Catalpa Lane: Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and was seen by a neighbor who scared them off.
