For a community service project, clients from the Genesis Project headed outside this week to tackle the overgrowth along the Three Creeks Trail in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood. The men, all residents of the group’s sober-living homes, took special social-distancing precautions, working only in proximity to their housemates. According to director Trevar Shyshka, the nonprofit operates primarily as a construction/labor agency, with that vocational training providing funding for the program.
